Welcome to WKLY, operated by Tiggey LLC ("WKLY", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have when you use the WKLY website and the WKLY iPhone and Android apps (together, the "Application").
Information We Collect
- Account Information: your name and email address when you create an account, and a user ID that identifies your account.
- Budget Information You Enter: your income sources, expenses, loans, savings goals, transactions, and settings such as the day your week starts.
- Bank Information (only if you connect a bank): if you choose to connect a bank account, we receive from our service provider Plaid the account names, types, last four digits of account numbers, balances, transactions, and credit card details (such as statement balance, minimum payment, due date, and interest rate). We never see or store your bank username or password; you enter those directly with Plaid or your bank.
- Device Information: we do not collect advertising identifiers, location, contacts, photos, or device information, and we do not use analytics or tracking tools in the iPhone app, the Android app or the website.
How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage your account and sign you in.
- Provide the features of the Application, such as budget tracking, reports, and importing bank transactions you choose to review.
- Keep your budget in sync between the website and the iPhone and Android apps.
- Email you about your account, such as email verification and password resets.
- Respond to feedback and support requests you send us.
We do not sell your information, we do not show ads, and we do not use your information to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Service Providers We Share Information With
We share information only with the service providers we need to run the Application:
- Plaid Inc. When you connect a bank, Plaid connects to your bank and sends us the bank information described above. By connecting a bank you also agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy, available at plaid.com/legal.
- Google Firebase (Google LLC). Stores your account and budget data and handles sign-in and our website hosting.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or WKLY.
AI Assistants You Connect
You can choose to connect an AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to your WKLY budget. This only happens if you sign in to WKLY on the connection screen and approve it. The connection is read-only: the assistant can read your income, bills, loans, savings goals, transactions and reports so it can answer your questions, but it cannot add, change or delete anything, and it never receives your password or bank sign-in details.
Information the assistant reads is sent to the company that runs that assistant and is handled under that company's privacy policy and settings (for example, how long your chats are kept). We do not share your data with any AI company unless you connect its assistant. You can disconnect an assistant at any time in My Profile → Connected AI Apps, and deleting your account disconnects all of them.
Your Choices
- Disconnect a bank: go to Connected Accounts and tap the trash icon next to the bank. This ends our access through Plaid and deletes that bank's balances and any transactions you have not imported. Transactions you already imported stay in your budget until you delete them.
- Disconnect an AI assistant: go to My Profile → Connected AI Apps and tap Disconnect. The assistant immediately loses access.
- Edit or delete your data: you can edit or delete any item or transaction at any time.
- Delete your account: go to Profile and choose "Delete Account". We disconnect all of your banks at Plaid and permanently delete your account and all associated data, including bank data. This cannot be undone.
Security of Your Information
Your data is stored with Google Firebase and is only accessible when you are signed in to your WKLY account. You do not need a Google account to use WKLY; Google Firebase is simply the service we use to store your data. Bank access tokens are kept on our server only and are never sent to your browser or phone. All data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No security measure is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your data is deleted from our systems.
Children
The Application is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced in the Application.
